Be grateful - each of these is a learning opportunity regardless of the outcome There are things you can control and can't control: Focus on those you can control, such as your work ethic, your knowledge, and expanding your personal networks I would complain about how my applications weren't getting any interviews as well as the university I attended because they weren't connected to my companies of interest. I remember having a mindset like this before, especially on my #JobSearch. LinkedIn: failing at everything all comes down to certain things. Then after the project was finished, I'd see how much it improved xyz which was my metricĪre these helpful? Let me know any comments in the questions and if you want me to keep doing these. □If you have access, looking at the data: Whenever I started a project at work, I'd look at the specific metrics in the beginning and track the projects I was working on. That's either a 1) 500+ increase or 2) a 100% increase. □Estimations and calculated measurements: Let's say you run social media for Wonsulting and you increased followers from 500 to 1,000 in a month span on LinkedIn. □Ask your peers/manager: They can give you a rough estimate of what the metrics are calculated by WTD, MTD, or YTD The second would exemplify all of those.īut the question is: how do you even calculate these metrics? Three different ways: Let's say that the JD responsibilities states that I've worked in GTM, improving on user experience, and have utilized data to make decisions. Now, what's the difference between the two? One shows just a responsibility I did, the other shows the impact and specifics of what I worked on that's tailored towards the job description. □Research user trends to implement Go-To-Market strategies for a new update called Cheetah, improving user experience and gathering data from queues while increasing customer operations satisfaction rating by 11%. □Research trends to implement strategies for updates to improve company Let me explain on the first experience for Snap Inc., let's do two different types of sentences: They make your resume more impactful rather than ONLY "responsibility driven". Now, what are impact metrics? Impact metrics are found within your position in your Work or Leadership Experience exemplified as numbers or percentages.
